I upgraded to the latest version of Spotify upon hearing that Spotify's Radio feature for Android would be installed during the update.

While holding my Verizon GS3 in hand during Spotify streaming, the phone would vibrate. I tried streaming with Google Music and could not reproduce the vibration happening in Spotify.

I was also paired to my car's BT stereo when this happened.

Anyone else notice the vibration while using the latest version of Spotify?

I have the same problem with the version just downloaded tonight! Very strange...

I had the same problem and turning off the auto-haptic setting seems to have fixed the issue. (under "sounds" in settings)

if u turn off auto haptic then u wont get feedback in games etc but where the auto haptic switch is (bottom of the list in sound settings) tap the actual words "auto haptic" and it takes u into a list of apps where u can select or unselect haptic for each app. my music player was makin the phone vibrate and it freaked me out till i found that setting lol ;)

I just installed Spotify on my G3 and it vibrates too, to every song. I feel like I've tried everything to no avail. When I go into Settings/Sounds/ I don't have an "auto haptic" option, but I do have an "Haptic feedback" option but checking and unchecking it has not made a difference. I also don't have the option select it and see a list of applications? Am I looking in the wrong setting?

I've also cleared cache, user data, then even uninstalled and reinstalled.

Anyone have any other ideas?

This is an odd issue. Mine doesn't do this at all even with haptic feedback.

Sent from my Sprint S3 using AC forums

This must have been fixed by Spotify in an update already as this post is from July 2012 lol...mine does not do it either

This worked! I'm enjoying vibration free music!

Thanks for the quick & useful reply!
You & the author of the widget rock!

I'm guessing it is not an issue for those that had auto haptic turned off before you upgraded?

All I can say is it was frustrating until that widget was installed! Never would have guessed it was an OS problem. I remember being given the option to choose applications too. I am sure we'll see it back in a future update.
