Launch smart select gif recorder without edge screen?

hello

Was wondering if anyone found a way for make a shortcut/app out of the smart select big recorder?

the reason I ask this is because I don't use on the smart select edge screen besides gif recording, which means I need a whole page just for one option but I can make it a short cut I can put it with the other stuff I have (I included a screenshot)

(I would love to have it where the + is rather than a whole page)
