launcher pro question

so im new to android and have been doing quite a bit of research and i think i want to get a custom launcher. my question is does sense stay when you use a custom launcher? i really like the way sense handles.

Yes and No. When you use a third party launcher like Launcher Pro, sense will still be running in the background BUT all the sense "widgets" will not be available using another launcher. That's why most launchers like ADW and Launcher pro make their own widgets to mimic sense widgets to offer a replacement.

So in short, Sense will still be running but hidden in the background and you won't be able to use any of it's features while using a launcher until you switch back to sense.

Not sure what part of Sense you like... but all the Sense widgets are not available... at least I did not find them when I installed it... then I removed it.
