I told my wife what a great app Launcher Pro is, and she installed it on her Eris. Now, as soon as she starts up, Launcher Pro goes into a force close loop and she only has access to the status bar.

Is there a way to boot into safe mode or any other way to fix this without a wipe?

You'll have to install the SDK on your computer, connect the phone, and remove the app that way (kind of the revers of side loading apps).
