Launcher Pro

I know what you mean with the scrolling app screen speed. I liked touchwiz's page approach on Vibrant and Captivate- because I could ARRANGE the apps- have utility apps on one page, games on another productivity on another... but since Epic ditched that aspect- I'm left with pages that don't show many apps per page- so I'd rather a long list AND I like Launcher Pro's ability to Hide apps in the app tray.

I do have to say $3 is WAY worth the price to have the Launcher Pro widgets- bookmarks isn't that big a deal- but the People one I like a lot more than Samsungs or Sense's and it's a resizeable widget- so you can even have a tiny scrollable window for favorite contacts- and still have space on your home screen for other things. Sense has only 2 sizes (fullscreen and 1x4) and Samsung's is fullscreen only. The Calendar widget is also resizable and really more responsive than the calendar app- I'd pay $3 for that widget alone. Once he has the facebook widget and combined facebook/twitter widget- I'll expect him to raise the price.

I agree- I wish there was a launcher that had ADW's themes, Launcher pro's options- and copied a few other enhancements missing from sense- perhaps we'll see that soon enough...

My contact pictures in the Contacts widget look very pixilated. Is it because I pulled them down from gmail and/or facebook?

I absolutely love the Agenda mode in the LP Calendar Widget. That alone makes it worth the price for Pro for me. Plus, with the scrollable dock I've been able to move most of my icons off the desktop and into the dock, leaving the desktop primarily for widgets.

Turning off the elastic effect was much better for me. You can also play around with the other settings which might help.

Rocking LauncherPro Plus without any major lag! Got the best of the many worlds of Android!

I actually leave my main home screen empty now. There are 15 dock icons, and each has a swipe gesture, so you get up to 30 apps/actions.

I'm hoping that lpp gets a nice weather widget to replace beautiful widgets.

Yes, I'm just waiting for that to happen and it should eventually. For now, I have FancyWidget.
