how do I get the default launcher back. I did a factory reset on my S9+ and it installed my BlackBerry & Nova launchers but not the default one. Some features are now missing.

I'm using Action launcher at the moment because I like the pixel stock android feel.
seem's more candy and colourful if you like that kind of thing.

Nova with sesame is really good. but not colourful candy. so
Microsoft launcher seem's ok. don't like it that much

has anyone tried flick launcher?

Oh, to answer your question...

Settings>Apps

Then tap on menu in the upper right and select "Default Apps"

Under there select "Home Screen".

Awesome Icons kinda works. I just hate this tag on the icon.

If you want to create shortcuts on the homescreen without the tag on the icon, you can use Shortcut Creator

I am using what is on my huawei p10 lite, which is EMUI. Why? because it works and does the job and I see no need to change.

Switch between the usual suspects. Stock SE, Nova Prime and Microsoft.

All have came along quite a way recently.

On Nova ATM. Might switch again before the Note 9 arrives.

If you're looking for something different to try, check out SquareHome 2. It's fantastic and has been stable for me (been using it for a month or so). The cube feature alone is extremely useful, not to mention very cool.

Is that the one that looks like the Windows Phone 7/8/10 UI (what did they call it - Metro)?
