What should I ask the seller....? Does this tablet suffer the flickering screen like the 12.2 models?

Is unlocked a good thing? Can it be updated to what ever the newest OS is?

Any other thoughts before I pull the trigger? Thanks.

Mine has never had screen flicker. I don't know if the Tab S 10.5 suffers from that symptom.

Unlocked generally means it can be used with "foreign" sim cards, at least, in phones. For Verizon, again, with phones, that means it can be used in Europe on their gsm frequencies. In the US, I'm not sure and I really don't know if Verizon tablets are intended to be cdma in the US like their phones or if it may be more open.

You want a bill of sale and make sure that it is not a lost or stolen device.

Thanks. Pulled the trigger and ordered this morning. Got it on Swappa for 300 including a Bluetooth keyboard and cover. I had narrowed my search down towards the end of last year based on reviews and specs and it was between this and a tab pro 12.2, but they seem to have battery connection, screen flickering issues. I know they can be fixed, but didn't want to chance it. I use a Note 10.1 for work for over 3 years and it has been flawless. So here I go.
