anyone having issues with the exchange pin policy? For some reason the client seems to think that my work is enforcing a special character in PIN mode, but the samsung pin dial pad doesn't have a special character. In password mode, the device password requirement is actually 2 characters longer than my default IT password, so i'm pretty sure that's a bug as well.

Anyone else have issues with this?

We don't enforce a PIN, yet Droid consistently forces me to make one.

My 4 digit PIN works as all previous build did.

Guys, is anyone here having SMS issues? A few people I've gotten Emails from are reporting not receiving text messages, and it appears to be concentrated to those who used the "new" CWR method over on the XDA forums.

Take my procedure from the beginning down. If you do so, you will never be completely booted up and plugged into your laptop.

I put the rom on my phone and booted into clockwork recovery, however when installing it just sits there installing. Been waiting over an hour on my 3rd attempt. Any ideas? I erased all user data however I still have super clean rom on it after that. Help?

Just got that message! They might as well right! I doubt it. But who knows, maybe the Samsung lords have decided to let us little ones get it!

I'm getting the same error with the twlauncher. Mine is really bad though. It occurs as soon as the phone boots up and it keeps happening. It's a force close loop. Here is a list of the only things that work: I can use the notification bar with all 5 options, Sleep mode works, holding the power button down brings up the list of options including "power off," and that's it. I have tried holding the home button but it freezes up so fast it doesn't let me bring up the task manager. I cannot view my list of applications and so I cannot switch over to ADW launcher. The phone is useless at the moment. I have tried wiping the cache and clearing the data but that did not make any difference. Anyone else having this problem and have you found a solution?

Resolved:
To follow up, I reflashed with DL09 using Odin. Installed CWM again with Odin. Then installed DL30. No need to root because DL30 comes pre-rooted. I'm no longer have problems with the force close loop from twlauncher.

Anyone having a hard time getting a lock on gps? This sucks. I'd been lucky with not having any issues before with gps.

With 2.1 the exchange password entry was so painful and buggy that my phone was remote wiped twice due to too many bad passwords - its like it got stuck or something. I am now halfway through the 30 day trial of touchdown - which works OK but costs $20.

Question:

Does the new version have a numeric keypad to unlock or do you still have to use the small general keypad to enter the code.

i love this update i used to have to get super clean right after but since i didnt wipe or anyhing everything is the same way i left it all i did was get aosp lockscreen and now its perfect and i finally got my bluetooth back

It took me 5 minutes to get a lock It locked fairly quick after that. Time and further testing will tell. If this GPS is borked I'm finished. I must remember this is a leaked version though.

it comes with a new keypad for pin, but as i mentioned it thinks my exchange policy is requiring a special character and the new numeric keypad is completely lacking any special characters.

The fact that it is enforcing a 15 digit exchange password policy must be a bug as that is quite a bit longer than my real exchange password is required to be

I apologize if this has been answered in the past. But given the froyo leak, for those who have it installed, does the fascinate still report 325mb of ram?

Mine says 339... not sure what it was prior to the update.
