It took me 5 minutes to get a lock  It locked fairly quick after that. Time and further testing will tell. If this GPS is borked I'm finished. I must remember this is a leaked version though.

Mine was instant no lag at all....but should I have apps2sd. Is it better?

im going to be honest here, i dont like the fact that this rom comes rooted already, because now i need to make sure i cleanse it of all root files so i can start to figure out all the root methods

It's LOUD! woot!

If this keeps up (everything working so fabulously)...I'm not so tempted by the Thunderbolt anymore!

And "they" said froyo was just a "meh" upgrade. Not for me! There is SO much more stuff it just does right now. :D

And this ^^^^ is why I think Verizon is hanging onto FroYo for another 3 weeks.

Trying to get visual voicemail.

The one in the Market works, but it looks like garbage.

Slap an LTE radio on this baby and I'd be a kid in candy land. I'm seriously rethinking the TB now. Great phone, but I don't know about dumping my true love for it.

Put me in that "they" category. Clearly I was wrong in this case. Lot's of eye candy in hear.

I got it, but you might not like it Cory. I used JT's stock VM app from CWM. I think it is the old one, but after flashing CWM right at flash and then readding it in CWM (way back to basics...i think it needed the update.zip or something, but got green again after that). I got Visual Voicemail working. Hope it helps ya.

I am along the same lines. THis is finally the phone i paid 200 for. I have my speed, my docks work and no more BING!

Anyone having issues with their Home button? My Home button does nothing now.

I had this issue then removed NoLed and pulled the battery for 10 seconds. After reboot it works fine. Not sure weather it was an issue with NoLed or needed the battery pull, but works fine now.

FYI. I now get audio out through the car dock. I am using Google Car Home and there is a selection to play music. You select the song and when it starts playing there is a button that looks like a speaker at the top, click that and the audio now plays through your car speakers. :)

Thanks, man. I was trying that, but CW kept failing with some error. I ended up using one on my SD card from sonofskywalkers ROM that I downloaded a long time ago. As far as it being the old version, give me 2 minutes. I have the files we need to update it to the new one, and will add it to post #3. Just use Root Explorer to copy and paste them over the old ones.

Keep getting a force close because of a process com.google.process.gapps, any ideas how i can fix this , ill try to reflash as cory suggested in the end of the first post..... again =(

the error box says its unexpected,,, but i expect it now lol

Hey Cory,

Have you encountered in force close issues? I am getting a consistent force close on e-mail via Exchange connector. So far, only issue I am seeing.

Thanks,

Spencer

I wonder if apps need to be installed from scratch to avoid the force close issues.

Like Cory said, definitely a lot of added UI improvements and eye candy with Froyo, which for me is a plus. I'm a wee more excited about Froyo now just because of that.

And you know, now I can receive standalone Google Apps updates!

so far I've noticed if you have FB (through SNS) and Google contacts, it won't match them up automatically anymore. it will list them separately. however, the FB app does sync up contacts for you without having to get friends first like the SNS FB app does.

The FB app is supposed to have Push Notifications if you are on 2.2.x. I have not seen one yet and I even uninstalled/reinstalled. Anyone else get the pushes?

Could someone tell me if I NEED to have Dl09 to do this? I cannot get that update because of an error.

After 2 attempts of installing and getting the force close cycle (first time with no restore, 2nd time I restored everything) I came to this same conclusion.

I've been reinstalling in groups. I just finished the last group and no force close cycle.

I think it's worth it to just do it selectively and carefully.

Anyone else's media scanner now taking twice as long (or longer)? Mine used to be fairly fast, but it's definitely taking longer now.
