Can anyone with the leak verify if bump charging is even necessary? i tried it with my old BB and looks like the charging light turns green immediately in the morning when I turn off the phone. Meaning it is charging fully and doing the trickle charge throughout the night.

Basically I am wondering if they fixed the charging issue, or if they made an improvement to the wireless radio, etc. to use up less battery.

You can still bump charge but I don't really have the the battery lasts alot longer now with the update but do your own tests

What battery are you using?
How do you use the phone? Light/Medium/Heavy usage?

stock battery and prolly a 50 to 75 percent diffrence as i put on a previous post i went 25 hours was over night but still alot better

It's not amazing; it just means HTC found something to improve, or they didn't optimize it in the past. Maybe they were busy with the EVO, not sure. Either way, this is very impressive.

If this is true, I might have to delay my purchase of the new extended batteries that have come out. With results like that, I might not even purchase them.
