Leather Style Shell just arrived

Ordered direct from Moto, it arrived today and is spectacular...feels and smells wonderful! Much nicer than the leather on my LG G4.

Verizon stores still don't seem to stock any of the shells (and maybe never will?), so I couldn't use my corporate accessory discount...nonetheless, well worth the $25 I paid.

How's the grip vs the included wood back?

It has more grip than the wood back and feels better in hand IMHO.

Damn I just bought a blue incipio back, was hoping it might be grippy. Is the included wood back grippy or slippery?

I feel like the included back isn't particularly grippy or slippery. It has a very slight texture to it, and generally I have no issue holding onto it, but I could see where just a bit of dampness on the hands could make it maybe slippery-ish, not grippy like a rubbery back or something would be.

So far they have Blue which I have, kind of a light gold and a silver gun metal which I have. The wood looking shell that came with the Z and Z Force, I wrapped mine with 3m material to Red. I'm looking forward to getting the one you have.

I really like it. It seems well made, hasn't gotten dirty, and looks nice imho. I think you will be happy with it.
