Leather VS Metal

About to pick up the watch and was going to order the black metal but after watching some reviews, I am now leaning towards the silver with black leather. Would love some comments from those of you who have them.
Reasoning:
I hear vibration is weak and I wear my leather watches tighter on my wrist than metal so I figured the leather would work better for that and HR
The charging dock looks like a pain with the metal that doesn't lay flat

I also would love to hear on whether the black is too sedated/bland. I like a little flash to my watch and was worried the black wouldn't show the edge details. Not sure if it has the shimmer of the Nexus 6p with the chamferred edges

I have the black one with a black leather. The black watch really isn't very glossy and quite matte. The silver one looks a lot more like polished metal. If I had the choice again I would choose the silver one these days.

I got the metal band, I perspire too much to make leather a good option for me.

I got the Stainless Steel mesh band.

I wanted the versatility of the individual straps (like the leather), but also wanted the durability and visual appeal of stainless steel. Also, I didn't want to have to resize it for my wrist (which I'd need to do if I got the Stainless Steel link band).

I think the mesh provided the best of both worlds to me!
