LED Flash Notifications

Under Display, gestures & buttons...then notification flash, I have all those items checked, yet my flash does not flash on any of those incoming selections. I even tried downloading a third party app that flashes different colors, it won't work either. Any ideas?

ok, I think I see what's happening. Its using the little, (VERY SMALL) light on around the speaker on the front of the phone. I was under the impression that it would activate the phone's camera "flash", which is much brighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there a way for the notifications to be channeled through the camera's flash??


UPDATE: Not going to worry about it; I do see where there are apps to download that enable this, but cannot understand why those apps need to see my "precise gps" location in order for their app to work on my device.
