The answer to that question is apparently yes.

hell yeah!!!!! multi colored at that, i hope it is full RGB. it really helps when segregating your notifications.

Yeah, this is one of my most needed features as well and i find it strange that we havent actually seen it in action yet. None of these demo units seemed to be hooked up to accounts though so i notifications probably wouldnt be coming through.

I cant wait to see it in action outside of the pre-rendered demo! Im jealous that my Incredible 1 cant have custom colors for specific contacts like some of my friends do on their BlackBerry's. It seems really useful. Hopefully this does have full controllable colors!
