LED Notification?

I noted some of you used or are using NoLED - I could not get this to work properly on my Fascinate. I got the notification but it would not come out of the black screen. I had to power it off and back on. Even after checking box in the set up if the touch screen is not working in the set up..

Cannot seem to locate any other options on the market.

Are you pressing the power button or the home key? The power button will actually dismiss your notification (press it again and it will come back). Touching the home button will turn your screen back on.

On another note, does anyone think it would be possible to program the backlight on the soft keys to flash like an indicator?

I actually got hold of the manufacturer.. Got the same answer. Thanks for the help though! This is such a nice change for me. The Blackberry forums that I would visit would be horribly hostile and usually get me flamed for asking such a 'dumb' question - or - -"Search the forum, you will find your answer there."

It takes the same amount of effort to type "search the forums" as it does to answer a quick questions. Forum searches are funky anyways: either you don't find anything, or you find a ton of stuff not related to your search (in most forums anyway).
