Hi Everyone ...
I know there are a couple of threads on the board regarding messed up notifications. My issue is mainly LED notifications. I use Textra and that is the only app where I am still getting LED notification, and sound notifications, since the Oreo update. I really did not want the update because I had been reading about notification issues.
I use Aqua Mail and I can't get LED or sound notifications but I get a mail icon and a notification in the pull down menu. I am getting sound in the calendar but no LED. I am also getting all notifications in the drop down menu.
I am posting this in hopes that someone from Android will see it and focus on this issue. I have gone through all the individual app settings and still no luck withe the LED.
I am also not having any badge notification issues.
Seems a mixed bag of bugs out there. I am not looking to do a factory reset for this issue. It seems it has affected enough phones, even reading other forums, that this is an Oreo issue that needs to be addressed by Android. I do know that factory resets are usually the cure for all, but I don't want to do it. I would have never updated except that pesky reminder would have bugged me forever.
P.S. Spoke too soon about badge notifications. Have a voice mail that is not showing in the badge.
