Led pattern on screen in sunlight

Has anyone noticed When using the g2 in sunlight. You canSee the leds in patterns? Like rows of lights

Now that I.noticed it.outside I tried it in a store and I can See rows of lights under whatever I'm looking at on screen. Is this normal?

yes it's normal. it's the type of touch screen they used

it's not lights, it's just dots. they're on the digitizer.

Lol yes it does. But when the screen is on it looks great!

I have no idea why they would use this sort of digitizer. Same thing plagued the Nexus 4.

The screen quality makes up for this minor mishap in my opinion however.
