Seems that the Jelly Bean update corrected an issue with the led not working correctly with some apps. It looks like the led flashes blue as intended on notifications from Facebook and Go SMS now instead of a solid red light.

A buddy told me his Yahoo e-mail notification LED is going nuts and blinking every 1-2 secs now.. so maybe its certain apps?

The color codes were terribly off in the previous OS. They corrected them all in the JB release. It was irritating and such a simple thing, not sure why they didn't fix it in a prior minor update.

i never had a problem with mine but they are all still working, others are reporting that it broke their notifications. should be solved with a reboot, i had a minor problem with disabling tips on the lock screen but a reboot solved it

it was working fine for me on ICS but i use nova launcher...dunno if that makes much of a difference. regardless it appears to be working fine on jelly bean too. good luck!

Got my JB OTA last night. What I noticed was the LED light seems to be dimmer. Did they tie its brightness to the display control?

I also noticed this! I asked a few of my friends that have S3's and they all said it looked the same. One thing I noticed before JB, was that their phones (white versions) LED looked dim to begin with - and now mines (blue version) seems to have lowered to their dimness haha

My red charging led is dimmer. I have not noticed that the standard blue is dimmer or not.

At first, I thought that too. But for some reason, my Missed Call LED notifcation blue is dimmer than, say, my text message one. Weird.

LED is definitely dimmer now. Noticed that right away when charging.

My Google Voice used to be solid pink when I had a notification, now it blinks green. Preferred the solid pink, definitely easier to notice.

No other issues to report with the light, glad it is working at least.
