I recently(as in like 30 minutes ago) used the "Le" App feedback thing asking if they are thinking about adding quick options (ie: Brightness, settings, etc) in the notification shade as I honestly believe it would bring in more buyers and make people coming from a clean android experience happier.

Extremely quickly I got an email from them saying that they will release an EUI update making the user interface much more like stock android. He then said it would "Satisfy My Requirement" meaning they would add quick settings in the notification shade.

Not sure if this was already known, but I thought I'd put it out there.

I'm both excited and sad because I've already gotten used to it xD

But I totally agree. Especially once it's in stores!

Same here. I never had an android phone before this, so it never bothered me at all. But I can honestly say, 2 people asking me if they should buy one didn't like the idea of no quick settings at all. So much so it sounded like it was a top reason to not get one.

People are loyal to the idea of "stock Android", so major deviation is frowned upon.

Also swiping down for everything vs pushing buttons.

I get used to new things pretty quickly also.
