Hey guys, I hope I'm posting in the correct section (I'm new).
I'm looking for a new tablet but I'm not sure how much I want to spend. I've seen this comparison around and I was wondering what's your opinion?

It's the just released Lenovo Yoga Book vs the latest Chuwi HiBook Pro.

Similar specs but different prices. Is it worth spending so much more for a slightly better processor? The HiBook Pro has a much sharper screen (2560 x 1600) and it's a lot cheaper.

Aside from the specs, I would also consider the reliability of the manufacturer... I am not familiar with chuwi and not sure how reliable their products are.

I would probably go with the Lenovo, as dpham said Lenovo is a notable company, and I have also never heard of Chuwi.

Oh, that's weird. I guess you don't follow a lot Chinese tech because they're all over the place.

By the way, they just launched this promotion: CHUWI 12th Anniversary Celebration
In few words if you buy the tablet from September 12th to 25th you get a full refund. I'm really tempted.

What do you guys think about the promotion?

The promotion is only as good as the product and company that is backing them up. I know nothing about that Chinese company. I do know that if one purchases a Lenovo product, chances are REALLY GOOD that somewhere in America will back it up. I may have to ship it to them, but they will probably make good.

I probably wouldn't buy any Android Tablet until after the Google announcement on Oct 4th.

And for me, a tablet is a consumption device. And I prefer my tablets to be a 4;3 or a 3:2 ratio or something like that as opposed to 16:9

The Lenovo is pricey, but it you want a built in keyboard it's probably good. So far, I'm not sure Lenovo has that good of track record with Android updates if that is important to you...

How's it for $229.99 from Geekbuying? It also ships from Spain and I'm Germany, should be alright?
