Hooooly crap kdkinc, get away from that humongous blood hungry spider lol. Is that a recluse!?!? You're nuts-o for even getting close to that thing haha

I didn't take the photo, but I do know, respect, and kind of like spiders. IT IS NOT a brown recluse. A brown Recluse tends to be all brown. Has a more bulbous abdomen.

With the colors on the legs and the location where the photo was taken (approx.. 3.7 miles southeast of Sugarmill Woods, Citrus County, FL), it appears to be a golden silk spider (AKA golden orb weaver). They are common in FL, they have the same venom as a Black widow spider, a neurotoxin, but it is not strong enough to badly affect humans. Local redness and reactions are the norm. However, if you are allergic to the venom, or have breathing problems, it might be a bit more serious. Their bite can leave a scar.

Now, back to the photos.

Sandy Hook, NJ (3 shot panoramic)

Hey rook I live right around the block from there :) actually at my girlfriends house in Atlantic Highlands right now hahaha. Nice shot of the beach. Sandy Hook gets some amazing sunsets.

In your other shots, it seems as if you didn't wipe your lens before shooting. They look pretty fogged up. Try wiping it with your shirt or more preferably with a micro-fiber cloth. The Best Buy on 35 has some nice LCD glass screen cleaning kits for cheap (I think $10 or something) I recommend you pick one up if just for the cloth. Its a champ and works great on my phone!

Here are a few macro shots for those who like 'em :) I DO wish we could use the Macro setting without the flash shooting off automatically, but whatever.

I agree that the lens looks dirty, but even just a quick wipe with a t-shirt works. No need to buy a lens kit...unless, of course, you want to :)

I'll keep that in mind, thanks. This photo was actually taken on that little bike path down in atlantic highlands... my wife and I walk our pit bull down there. Great little walk with an awesome view.

There have been some really beautiful photos posted. I am feeling inspired to spend some time figuring out how to do some of the things the Droid X is capable of. This shot is typical of the way I have been using mine so far.

Before we left the parking lot my wife discovered the store did not give us the sale price. I took a picture of the sign before standing in the customer service line. The manager took one look and told the cashier to refund my entire $15. The picture was uploaded from my Droid X to my Picasa album:

Sorry, did not load. I have not figured out how to get pics on here yet...help?

I use photobucket to upload to the internet and then I use the provided IMG code from photobucket to post here on the forums.
