^^I use Camera 360 Pro (high quality settings) for most shots like above and Vignette for others (low light mostly). They're both better than the default camera app. Also be sure to always wipe the lens clean between shots. Except for resizing, no modifications were done to those pics. You can download demos of each app btw.

What the hell is that? looks like someone dropped toxic sludge on a grasshopper and it grew to the size of a cat.

Is that thing a foot long or something?

Just some kind of grasshoppery locusty thing, probably about 3 inches long. They're crawling around all over the place out here (southwestern NM) right now.

3 inches long?! WTF.. the average grasshopper here in so cal is like half that size.

My favorite picture taken with my droid x! Was trying to catch a picture of the crane/w.e bird that is, before he flew away.

here's a panoramic I took this morning from my hotel room. This shot was shot looking through the window in the room. The camera seems to take decent shot if there is good natural light. In low light conditions, the pictures are awfully grainy.

not to sound like a noob haha, how do you use the panoramic mode, do you have to download a diff camera app from the market ??

Thanks
