They will ship the 8th, by Fedex, and get delivered on the 10th. Thats been SOP for Verizon over many introductions and pre orders.

FYI, before you waste your time going to a store on the 10th. Best Buy is charging more for upgrade. They will not sell any at retail prices, until the amount of inventory builds up. And they wont match any VZW price, including waiving activation fee. i am just sayin'.

I will say it again: If VZW says delivery and store availability is 10/10, then it will be 10/10. They dont give a rats a** that T Mobile , Sprint and ATT have it out. I have been through 3 VZW pre order scenarios. Always the same. They dont release in store prior to pre order delivery.

By the shipping notices everyone is receiving, you are right. Ships out today, 10/8, delivery by 10/10 (although guess its possible some may receive theirs as early as 10/9).

My 2nd phone still hadn't shipped. I called and had to repay for it. I dont know if it will ship out today or not.... :-$ but I will be VERY bummed if my hubby gets his Thursday & I have to wait till fri/mon. I ordered these way back on 9/17.

It all depends on how much hassle it is to you to have to go to the Verizon store. Personally, I would rather have them drop it off at my desk, even if it means I have to wait a couple of hours longer.

Got my tracking from online chat. Show deliver Thursday and I had to renter my order last Friday after they canceled the first one by accident when they where updating shipping address. I decided to unroot my note 2 and get it read to give to my wife (since she hates the custom mods I use and just want to play her facebook games on it) but I bricked it. I spent the entire day fixing it and just got it back up so the day went fast at least. Now I need to go home and put my new sim in that got delivered today since this Sim decided it will only let me connect at 3G so tried my wifes S3 sim and it worked fine so I am sure it is the sim.

Mine set to arrive 10/10. In Memphis (FedEx) awaiting shipment to Minnesota. Sadly I haven't ordered any screen protectors, cases, gear, docks, etc. Going to need to get a Car Dock ASAP as I've been using Motorola phones since the Droid X (then Bionic, then the Razr Maxx HD)....

Looks like a majority of phones shipped today. Even the Verizon's around me got the Note 3's in but they can't sell them till Thursday. Stock levels look like it is more Black than White color versions. Verizon's always shipped 2 days before release.
