Place it in the game folder or in the music folder?

Place a copy of .nomedia in whatever folder contains items that you don't want to have appear in the Gallery (for images and videos) or the Music app (for mp3s, wav files, and any other audio files).


Useless Trivia:
.nomedia is similar to a robots.txt file that a web page owner can place in the same directory as the rest of their site to get search engines to ignore the content in their search aggregations.

I put the .nomedia file in the Let's Golf folder in Gameloft in the SD Card...
But the "raw" files from Let's Golf still shows up in the Music app.

Hmm, let me double check.

Go to gameloft.com on your HTC EVO today and you can get "Let's Golf" FREE.
(I had to use the stock Evo brower as it did not seem to recognize the Dolphin HD one)

They require you to simply install a small app that is basically a bookmark to an optimized version of thier EVO site. Install and launch that and you can then Down Load "Let's Golf" FREE!!!!

You can even remove that bookmark app later ii

I have no idea how long this will last so do it ASAP!
