Let's see those 5G Speed Tests!

Here is from Signal Check...Says 5G but maybe I am missing, should it not be band 600 not 1900??
I e-mailed the developer and the app does not yet show 5G info.
He said to send diagnostic info in through the app while connected to 5G and he'll start mapping it out.

Mav.

With Rogers in Canada (pretty disappointing numbers)! And Rogers will start charging for 5G next year...

I conducted several speed test when my phone has the 5G symbol showing, but according to the Ookla SPEEDTEST app, I was on 5G only twice. Speed test were taken in various areas of Gwinnett County Georgia.

Was about 115 until I starting driving. Guess it dropped off a little. Carrier T-Mobile. Screenshot_20200307-084239_Speedtest.jpeg

Hey knowledge775,
I should know this but do you or anyone know what the 5G UWB stands for? There is another thread that is specifically for posting pics of how the carriers and Apps are displaying the various 5G speeds
I see it's Verizon.
Thanks

Ultra Wide Band

Not impressed with the sub-6 Ghz speeds I am seeing on an Unlocked Ultra on AT&T. Interesting during the top test I saw the 5G indicator, but the test was recorded as a LTE test. My iPhone 11 Pro Max has much better and consistent results.

my indicator bounces, seemingly randomly, between displaying lte+ and 5g on at&t. speeds are the same, between 50-125mbps

Yea, I don't thnk the AT&T 5g map is correct, I'm all in 5g area on the map but my phone still says 4g LTE. I did have to switch plans to get 5g so maybe it takes a while? Or is there something I have to do to my phone?

From Henderson, NV on Tmobile. Not as fast as I thought it would have been.

Don't think that is true 5G... did you check the frequency or band that you were on? Most likely AWS or Band 4 (1700/2100) really it's just LTE +

If you look, there is an LTE test on there. My phone most of the time is in 5G. But when I’m at home it’s does says 4G LTE. My iPad which is LTE doesn’t get nearly the same speeds if I do a speed test in the same spot.
