I definitely think the Pixel photo, other than being clearer, is more representative of real life scenes. It makes you think the cat is in front of you!

The animal farm or HOME! The rabbit was at dusk to pretty dim light. I think the racoon is the one that raided my garden last year. Although it could have been the bunny.

And just for grins, my new "running" shoes although I don't run anymore. Can they make these things any more garish????

There are some Hokas that have pretty basic color schemes, but yeah, most of them are pretty out there! I've thought a few times about buying a pair for times that I'm on my feet a lot - how do you like them?

These are the Bondie or some such. The shop's other choice was what I thought was Miami Vice colors. A pale bluish with rainbow yellows. They offered to try special ordering some but I decided to accept garish. This is my fourth pair. They helped me recover from some ball of foot pain that made walking on pavement quite painful. It was never quite diagnosed. They are quite cushy and at first they allow the foot to roll so you have to get use to that feeling. This new pair feels a bit less mushy/cushy. Before Hoka, I was a Brooks Addiction guy for years and years.

Seattle is overrun with them. I guess there are not enough coyotes to keep them in check. But yes, coyotes also wander our streets. The rabbits on the San Juan islands keep the Bald Eagles well-fed.

Yesterday's walk at Discovery Park (biked it the day before). I like the window through the tree.

And then this morning's endeavor... Ina Garten's Turkey. Butter, lemon zest, thyme leaves and stuff with the onion, lemon, garlic and thyme sprigs. I have not done a turkey in decades. But my friend appointed me since she's under the weather!!! We shall see.
