Today's bike ride, early before our ridiculous record breaking heat came back again later in the day.

I love the shot of the stork.

Speaking of the UK, here are a few photos I took while we were enjoying Coronation Week in London.

Too much heat, too early. Probably like England, we are not very air conditioned and houses get warm, never mind the outside air temps. We had four days near or at 90F/32C. Earliest we hit those temps.

Actually, a Great Blue Heron. He/she was being rather stealthy. A photographer with a long lens was snapping and was afraid it was going to eat one of the baby ducks. She said they are exploitive and would eat anything it could grab.

It is not sausage but almost as messy. The beginning of Osso Buco. I saw the recipe and could not resist. Here's hoping we're not disappointed. She's coming over to do gardening, well, weeding, actually and I'm serving lunch.
