Enjoying the nice weather outside. Our youngest dog, Georgia, REALLY doesn't like my son's monster truck... they had fun.

These are not the best photos. But I went to Manchester via Peak District last night to collect a new wardrobe. The landscape was just beautiful and I grabbed a few quick snaps while the phone was being used as a Sat Nav. Hence the quality. But I am still in awe of the scenery not far from my doorstep.

Wow! That's breathtakingly beautiful.

@Kizzy - like the 3rd one down - stone walls in the field - can't imagine how long it took to build all of them.

They are made using a type of building called dry stone walling. There is no mortar between the bricks and the weight of the wall keeps it up. This is used all over Derbyshire and Yorkshire. It really is amazing!!

Oh, and here I thought you purchased new clothes (wardrobe) as opposed to something you stow the wardrobe in!!! :D

The piece of furniture that stores clothes is called a wardrobe in the UK. Remember 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'?

Do you call it a closet? See although we essentially speak the same language UKisms and Americanisms show our true differences in speech. Lol I never even thought you thought I meant the clothes. LOL.

I never thought you meant the clothes. I was just explaining to the person who didn't understand. LOL.

I read many UK authors' books and watch many UK films and shows, so I'm very familiar with UK English. I even use UK English as the default language on my phone, tablet and PC.

Probably our final snow for the season. We picked up about 2" or so and I'm lucky enough that today is one of my scheduled work-from-home days so I don't have to get on the road with people that don't know how to drive in the snow!
