LOL! I hope you know I was pulling your leg earlier ;). Grew up with cats, but wife converted us to dogs. Would have gotten a cat when out last dog passed but son was too allergic :(.

Does anyone find that in photos taken in dimmish light, the camera seems to lighten shadows a touch too much, just to show more detail? Some of the evening shots I've seen posted by folks have wonderful details in the shadows, but have a bit of an unnatural look, not enough contrast where it should be.

I solve that problem by tapping the screen and then moving the sliders to the lighting I want in my image.
