So far this is the only video I've seen showing off the new camera updates we'll be receiving soon. The portrait mode looks so much better than before assuming he used it in some of the shots. He only showed samples with a separate video coming soon. I like what I see though.

So update: the camera updates came through the Play Store and from a few test shots using portrait mode on the rear camera, I'm seeing much improvement. The blue levels look a lot better as well as the cutouts are really spot on. Also anything on the same subject plane is not blurred out making the effect look more natural.
