UK trip continued:

Train from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverly.

The day of the Queen's procession up the Royal Mile there was heavy police presence and much of it was fenced off

Girlfriend and I took a trip to London and Edinburgh in September. Sadly we were there when the Queen passed away. We did the usual tourist stuff as much as we could as many things closed after the Queens passing. We also attended the Battle of Britain airshow at Duxford so there'll be lots of pictures of classic WW2 era aircraft.

Yes, a lot of big attractions were closed. But in other ways it helped us. A planned strike by train drivers was postponed till after the mourning period.

I thought I would share a small sequence where the Pixel 6 Pro photographed the Northern Lights including two videos taken during the occurrence. Filler on both ends.

Woke up to this shlamazzel this morning. We usually get some snow before Halloween, so I shouldn't be surprised. Usually melts off before winter truly sets in though.
