Lets talk Evo Browsers...

I prefer dolphin hd myself.

Ditto. One annoyance with the stock is when clicking on embedded videos it would play in the HTC player at low quality. Dolphin HD asks if you want to view it in the YouTube player which I have set to HQ.

This was, believe it or not, like my only reason for switching to dolphin. That and fullscreen mode.

Does Xscope let you open links with something different (i.e. a youtube vid with youtube app, or I would also love to have an "open with skyfire" for pages with streaming video)

I ran some of the web speedtests with both Dolphin and the stock browser and saw no significant difference in speed. Nor do I see a significant difference in how long it takes to render a page.

Xscope, on the other hand, is dramatically faster at rendering pages, and seems faster at downloads, too.

Do any of the currently available browsers allow synching with Xmarks?

I believe when FF is available, it will.

I use Dolphin and love it. The tabbed browsing and bookmarking features are the best. I get NO lag either...

I dont think any do, but I just bookmarked my.foxmarks.com page and access all my bookmarks that way, until something will import them.

does Xscope support flash? cuz i can watch flash videos in the Dolphin browser but for some reason the same videos won't play in the Xscope (v5.36) one.

Dolphin HD is my browser of choice. Tabbed browsing, easily accessible tabs and bookmarks, lots of awesome plugins, it's really the cream of the crop.

I have tried several browsers and I think maybe this is an appropriate place to ask this. I use stock right now because I haven't found and awesome browser. I have used dolphin, opera, skyfire and steel and none of them seem to address my problem-scrolling within a window. For some reason I cannot scroll list boxes because it wants to scroll the whole page, not the particular box i want to scroll. When I click on it, it just wants to copy text. Anyone found a browser to address this?

dolphin hd here. waiting for firefox.

i was totally fine with the stock browser until out of nowhere, it just wouldn't work. things wouldn't even begin to load.

I use Dolphin HD.
I have tried the pre alpha version of Firefox (fennec). It looks real good, but its not in beta yet. Kept having to ForceClose it, soI uninstalled it. They say propbably ready for prime time at end of August.
Hope so.

I agree 10000% with you. I too would like to find a way to scroll as well. Being out of work and searching on Dice or Monster for a new job is frustrating enough! But recently, a lot of their job postings started to have these scroll bars, and I cannot get to the "APPLY" button because of those scroll bars.

I just remembered something though. I think on one of the newer Opera browsers on my WinMo HD2, or was it Skyfire? They actually have a pseudo "mouse" option, which makes a small Windows style hand selector appear, and can use like a physical mouse. Might search around for that? Or send in a request to have it added maybe.

I use Dolphin HD, but does it use the new rendering engine and features of the Froyo browser? IOW, is it a skin over the stock browser or a totally freestanding thing? There was an update today and the changelog mentions a "big update" coming in a few weeks.
