There's flex mode now.

Then there's some apps that can split screen.
And I'm still not exactly how that works even on my note.

Do you guys multi task in split screen on your flip?

If so, share how and what.

Split screen and Flex Mode are two different beasts. The first lets you use two apps at the same time (and while the default is to split your screen in half, you can re-size the two 'windows' at will. Flex Mode, on the other hand, for apps that do support it, it's just the SAME app, just two different, independent sections (i.e. watch a video on the upper half while still browsing videos/comments on the bottom or seeing a picture on the upper half while scrolling through your other media files on the bottom).

Personally I find split screen much more useful even on the Flip. I tend to have my messaging app on the bottom and a browser/work stuff on top most of the time. It also helps that you can turn apps into bubbles (floating windows) so I can have two work apps at the same time and just have my messaging apps handy on the bubble for a quick look/reply.

Yeah, I played around with the split-screen for awhile. I can see the use in it. It's especially handy to save the splits into the edge panel and reopen them when needed.
I just haven't had much need for the flex mode. Yet.

The most useful case I've seen when using Flex Mode is actually the most mundane (and arguably worse, yet best) case: it just shows whatever is going on in an app on the top screen. That way you can prop up the phone on a table and still be able to use an app without it overflowing to the folded bottom. Plus is that you can use the keyboard on the bottom part so it feels like a very teeny tiny weeny bitty laptop.
