LG 7 ThinQ Receiving calls & Receiving Text

Good day,

I have the iPhone X and recently purchased the LQ7 ThinQ with the intention of selling the X.

I love the LG but am having a problem I can't seem to fix. I use Verizon as my carrier. I can make calls and send text but cannot receive either. Most of the people I communicate with are apple users but not all. The receiving problem is across the board.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Found the solution. You have to deregister iMessage from the iPhone. Once I did that, incoming texts worked great.
