LG dialer digit filter syntax

I'm trying to use the digit filter to cut down on the NPA-NXX spam I'm recently buried in, and I can't make it work...

Calls typically show in the history using this syntax: "+1 987-654-3210".

I've tried blocking all of the following "starts with" strings, and nothing...

"+1 987-654"
"1 987-654"
"1987654"
"987654“

Any advice appreciated.

Unfortunately, it seems that you are already doing the best that you can.
I have similar entries in my block list. Sometimes the call is blocked, sometimes not.

Anyone else? I can't believe it just doesn't work...
