LG G Pad 8.3 GPE: sticker on the back

That pesky sticker on the back of the tablet that contains a serial number is annoying me because it's starting to peel up on the edges. I was wondering if there is any fathomable reason to keep it there, or if removing it voids warrantee or something. I would really like to get rid of it. The serial number is printed on the box.

Don't know about the warranty question, but perhaps there is, or you could add a note, ON the tablet with that # for future reference?
