LG G Stylo SD card issue

Hey, I'm new here I have a quick question about my SD card. I have whatever apps I'm allowed to move to my SD Card and when I update my apps. I notice some of my apps are moving back to device and are no longer on the SD card. Is this normal for the apps to move back to the device?
