LG G Watch : Significantly Better Battery Life After Latest Update

Anyone else notice a huge jump in battery life after the most recent update? I'm putting it on the charger at night with around 60% left on average. And that's using ambient mode on, and bumping up the brightness that I use all day to 4 from 3. 3 was more than bright enough for the office, but I noticed the battery life was so much better that I was able to start using a higher brightness setting without having to worry about battery life at all, and it's a little bit nicer in the car and outdoors. Contrary to many of the reviews, I find I really don't have to change to max brightness very often, we're talking only in extreme bright, direct sunlight.
