I played with one at Verizon this evening and compared the camera to my HTC One -- you can compare the images here:

g2 looks much better. I'm sick of htcs cameras with the soft images and digital noise reduction. makes details lacking.

Nice, I am assuming the LG G2 has a more natural color look to it. Somehow the HTC One seems "yellowish". If I was going to purchase based on your pictures, I would get the LG G2!

Did you remember to go into settings and change it to 13mp? By default it's set to 10 for some reason.

i'm curious as to how the other carriers compare to the verizon version..for some reason, my pics don't seem to be coming out as nice as the shots i've seen online..especially my lowlight ones :\

The pics right above you are Verizon, I know that doesn't help with low light.

Old man or old lady? Did you change you camera settings to 13 mega pixels? For some reason they ship it set at 10.

For a cellphone that's not really that bad. It looks like a point and shoot shot at say iso 1600. That's nothing to really be scoffing at considering its inside of a device that's as thin as a pencil.

HDR cropped is first picture, second picture is normal cropped. Besides the HDR being lighter not much difference. I think I like the normal picture better.
