I bought the LG G2 unlocked on ebay and it turns out it's made in Korea and labeled with "hkg".

Return it or will it perform as good as a American made version?

I live in the USA.

Welcome to the forums!

If you're getting LTE and can make and receive calls normally I'd say, congratulations. Should you decide to travel it may just prove beneficial, who knows?

P.S. I don't think any of the G2's are "American made" and the Koreans are known for high quality so I think you're safe there.

I am in America now. It's working find. I took my straight talk sim out of my Nexus 4 and I got Straightalk working on the G2. On start up I was able to change the phone to "English (United States), so I think it's fine. I just need a american standard AC adapter. The one I got inst compatible with the outlets in USA.
