Walked in to an AT&T store yesterday to play with the Note 3 (can't touch G2) and decided to compare my G2 with the G2 on display. Taking side by side camera shots with all settings the same the display model had significantly faster low light shutter speeds. Does having less RAM available slow down shutter speeds or are all G2's not created equal? I will try another G2 at another AT&T store tomorrow. If my findings are the same I might request a replacement.

Good question. There are certain things that can weigh on your shutter speed and/or the full operation of the camera. Things such as low batter, low memory [RAM], and other. First suggestion is to contact AT&T Customer Service to see if they can provide troubleshooting for this that may correct it [maybe by refreshing the software] or you can call in to our Support line at 1-800-793-8896. ^CL

LG is referring you to AT&T lmfao if that's not the ultimate troll I don't know what is.

sad thing is, I've seen this before in their chat room. they direct you to your provider because they say that they're the ones who deal with updates etc, not LG. lol

I'm loving everything about my T-Mobile g2 except the camera. I've used iPhones for the past five years and this is my first Android.
I was trying to take pictures of my niece and nephew today and they all came out awful., even when the kids were barely moving they were blurry and over processed. The shutter speed was very slow. I know taking pics of kids can be tough but my old iPhone 5 definitely did a better job.
Taking pics of scenery come out nice but whenever people are in the pictures they're not good.
Just wondering if anyone has this problem as well or if it's just my phone and I should exchange it.
Thanks!

Same issue here with pictures of people, animals, anything that breathes pretty much. Verizon g2. Scenery photos and anything at a stand still comes out beautiful. My moto x does a phenomenal job with anything in motion , this phone eh not so much.

Have you tried 3rd party camera apps? I'm making the switch from an iPhone 5 (the camera is pretty damn good)... this could be a deal breaker esp considering I have 3 nieces under the age of 7....
