I have a verizon LG G2. Since the uprgade to Lollipop, it sucks. Everything is so slow and it does not respond to anything. Freezes often as well. Home screens get stuck as i scroll between them. There is a huge lag in launching apps. Battery is also much worse.

Any recommendations to fix this?
Anyway to get rid of the upgrade to Lollipop and go back to whatever was before it?

You can't "get rid of" an update, all you can do is flash the older version of Android. Two problems, both easily fixed.

1. You'll lose everything, so back everything up. See Backing up an Android Device

2. The phone will still keep trying to update, so you'll have to root, then freeze or uninstall (I'd freeze) the update app.

Flashing a ROM on an LG is pretty trivial. I use the LG Flash Tool and the .tot file for that phone for that version. (You can also use the LG Mobile Support Tool and the kdz file for that phone for that version.)

I had to go back to kitkat. Battery was just too terrible on lollipop.

There are tutorials on xda and YouTube showing how to do it. It isn't that hard but you will lose all of your data.

Thanks for this info, folks. I'm about there too. So frustrated, I think it's time to just go back to KitKat. Definitely gonna look into this.
