Thanks dude. Did your issue develop or was t always there? The GS4 GE is supposed to be at my place on Monday. So I'm gonna intensely use this G2 until then.

I had a couple times the screen jittered a couple times, did the quick memo test and drew straight lines down the screen and got zig zag lines. It was enough for me to call it quits which was to bad since it was nice phone other wise.

Update: Nope - this didn't work either. Looked good for a little while and then started acting crazy again.

I just tried something that for the moment seems to be working. In Settings -> Accessibility -> Touch & hold delay, I changed the setting from Short to Medium. So far no craziness on the lock pin screen or in Words With Friends (where half the time it was impossible to pick up tiles and move them to the right spot). Hopefully it'll continue to work!

I'm sad to say that I'm in the same boat as many of you. I tried to convince myself that I could deal with the screen glitches, but even if that was my only concern, it would be torture to wait on LG to push a potential patch. I had a LG Thrill and it was probably my worst experience with a device. I figured I'd give LG the benefit of the doubt here since the specs looked killer and screen size was just what I was looking for. I had a Note 2 prior and felt it was just a little too big to be completely comfortable. That being said, my screen was also glitching quite often. A reboot fixed it for a short time, but then returned regardless of which launcher I was using. GPS was also one of my issues I was having. GPS took quite a while to lock and then when it did, was floating around my actual position most of the time. It reminded me of the good ol' Samsung Captivate. GPS was never really fixed there. The third thing that bugged me, but could be remedied was the auto-brightness control. Why can you slide the slider AND have it set to auto-brightness? Lux took care of that for me, but the GPS and screen was what finally killed it for me. Went and exchanged it for the Note 3 since I worry that the Nexus is just a bare G2 and could suffer from the same issues potentially if they were hardware related.

It's a shame, I like some of the other features of the G2 and wanted to give LG another shot.

SO sad to see this thread. I hate watched the video from another post and thought maybe this was an isolated thing. I was going to get this device for my wife so I could play with it too, but this is not good.

Im on my third g2,first one was perfect except knock on worked 60% of the time,secobd g2 feltvery laggy and touch sensitivuty was so weird and glitchy it would double register my taps, and camera was ****ty, now my third one is perfect even knock on now works 90% ofthe time so for those of you having problems just exchange for replacement!

I tried the QuickMemo writing test and had no issues at all. Smooth as silk. Using AT&T phone.

Had my vzw g2 about a week now, lock screen keeps going back black when I try to swipe unlock and sometimes even after I open an app,especially camera,also Google sky map is very jittery

Just and FYI guys. I went to AT&T today and played with this phone. The screen was perfect, I did the draw test just like in the videos, the lines were straight and perfect.
If you are getting heart beat lines, your phone is defective and needs to be returned.

The problem is its intermittent. Its hard to replicate. It happens when it happens.

Sad news, the issue came back with vengeance. The problem however seems to be software, take a look at both the videos I recorded.

Well hopefully LG and carriers don't take forever to fix it if it's software. I moved on to the note 3 and so far glad I did.

I don't know if I'd like a phablet. My friend says don't knock it til I try it but its just hard for me to get used to. It does have similar internals.

Guess I can try it and see what I think.

Always try it. Now that I can resize the whole screen when I need to so I can run it one handed makes a huge difference over the note 2. So far no issues, but it's early in the game. At least there is no screen issues.

I just wanted to throw my hat into the ring and admit I have a problem...a touch screen problem. On Verizon, 3 day old phone, done it 6 times, twice in Facebook app, twice while moving apps around my desktop, once in Candy Crush and once in CarBuzz app. Here are a couple Qnotes showing whats up. The left one was last night while using facebook, the other is from this afternoon while using carbuzz:

Glad I made the move to the Note 3 after seeing more and more cases of this. No issues at all with the Note.
