Lg G2 update rolling out now!

This is great news! We already own the best device on the market, even without KitKat, but once we have this upgrade, it's lights out Samsung! I am very pleased with all aspects of my LG, and for fun ran Antutu... It scored over 35,000 and kicked the Note 3 in its proverbial head! (and everything else also, ouch!) So glad I chose the G2 over the Nexus 5, mainly because the battery life is phenomenal! Fabulous work LG!

Knowing how the major carriers operate here in the US. We still have a while to go before seeing this update on our devices.

If it had an sd card I would have bought one.

You know LG, Samsung, and HTC cheat on their benchmarks. So the scores are not not an accurate representation of phone performance lol.

Benchmarks? Folks still look at those when buying a phone? Lol...just kidding, I know there are those that live and die by benchmarks.

I got over the SD Card issue when I dumped my Galaxy S3...when I went through 4 car chargers from Verizon (and 2 120 vt. Home chargers) I was convinced the Galaxy had a circuit board issue that Samsung nor Verizon wanted to deal with. I'll never buy another Samsung phone. The LG G2 is so impressive of a device, I can patiently wait for KitKat!

well, you can look at it this way...
if they all have been cheating on their scores for a while anyways...
so you're getting the highest juiced score and comparing it to whatever the best juiced score they could get with their last years model.
they have to continue improving on their juiced scores with every new phone so you can still use the numbers as a measure.
lol.

Double negative makes it positive, so scores ARE an accurate representation of performance? :P

You can credit that to Google keyboard and my nexus. The lag from both, and me not stopping for the keyboard to catch up tends to cause duplicate words from time to time.

Meenova quite an interesting product, but the price too steep for just an micro sd card reader, and no free shipping really make the price even higher (+$3). This is really a deal breaker for me.

You don't need to use then to make a decision but they are still a good way to measure if your phone is actually working well compared to others with same device.
If your benchmark results are constantly half of what others on same device is getting, that's a good indication you need to fix something that's bogging the phone down.

It was relevant until Google went pure evil and removed apps in SD support.
Not being able to install apps in sd what made me buy G2, and of course realistic color representation compared to super saturated Samsung displays.
I still agree SD is useful for videos and music storage, and I still like Samsung having a good developer support.
