LG G2 wont stay off

whenever i hit the lock screen it just turns back on automatically. ive restarted my phone 4/5 times today. its brand new, maybe a month. im pissed. what do i do?

It could be an app that is keeping it up. Check what applications are running in the background. It could also be a faulty button.

Sorry when I said reboot I was referring to a full reset not just turning off and on. Maybe start by clearing the system cache first.

Something is obviously hanging up causing the issue but it's hard to diagnose a problem from a few lines in a post and why there have been few replies.
