LG G3 Android M (6.0)

Working well on ATT so far.

I REALLY REALLY like that the display brightness slider (like the L2 had) has been added on the pull-down notifications menu. That was my biggest problem with the G3 vs the G2.

For a number of hours post-update my phone behaved really smoothly with updates visible with no problems apparent... but then at sudden onset (hours or next day post-update) all of my widgets settings were reset to default settings and I had to re-establish all my preferred apps, re-log into my google account.
When this happened I somehow lost all my contact pictures. I noticed this shortly after the phone spontaneously gloated that it had sync'd my ATT contacts.
I've just now had time to investigate this and downloading contact data from my google account seems like it's replaced all the contact photos as they were before. They all duplicated but were easy to merge.

Font sizing is better... smart lock is better. Flashlight in notifications pulldown is handy enough to uninstall the extra light app and widget.

edit: I really cant tell much difference in battery life...

I use my G3 for straight gaming now so i guess it wouldnt hurt to update.

Can i do the update over WiFi? Because my at&t sim is in my G4 lol

I had to take my SIM out of my Nexus 5x and put it in my G3 before it detected an update. Otherwise, it would just say that my phone is updated.

I just installed the Fulmics ROM 5.0 on my Verizon G3 and love it! Flashed with TWRP Recovery and it is rooted and with Aroma Installer. It appears very stable, I lost Visual Voice-mail, but downloaded a 3rd.party app that is free, with Verizon allowing call forwarding. Developers also provide OTA updates, and this ROM is very smooth. I just got my G5!

LG's page for the G3 on Sprint shows Marshmallow now. Also, i had a recent conversation with Sprint rep (yeah, i know not the most reliable source even though they work for Sprint) that said it had been "released" on July 28th and that it would roll out by device manufacture date.
Don't know how much validity to put with the statement but I'm still hoping :)
