LG G3 D852 Google Sync and Youtube Issues

Ever since I bought my G3 back in late September I've always had this issue where Google Play Store would occasionally stop working. I'd open up the app and be presented with nothing but a blank white screen. Force closing the app would resolve this for a while, but it would happen again eventually.
Just recently, my Google account has failed to sync any of my Google apps. The process was gradual; first it was just contacts that stopped syncing, now it's practically every single major Google app, so now my Chrome bookmarks aren't being updated, my Gmail won't receive new emails, Google Play Store doesn't load anymore, same with Youtube. Now I just get presented with a loading circle in those last two apps. My phone is practically useless at this point. Force closing the apps does nothing, clearing the cache does nothing, heck, I can't even sign out of my Google account (it does nothing when I click on the sign out button).
I like how this all started 5 months after I bought the phone, it sounds like it's a Lollipop issue, and I can understand that since I'm running 5.0.1 which is the buggiest version. Still, it's rendered all of my Google apps useless. Does anyone know of any fixes that will re-enable syncing and so forth, short of a factory reset? I feel like a factory reset is also just a short term fix anyway.

Welcome to Android Central!

Try going in to your settings, applications, all apps, find the apps that are giving you a hard time and clear the data from them. That should clear out the bugs for them. Did you do a factory reset after you got the update?

I performed a factory reset but the problem came back after just a few weeks. Again, my Youtube app is just a loading circle, my Google apps fail to sync, but the Google Play Store can still be accessed. Having the latest updates for all my apps does nothing, I wouldn't know what apps are causing issues since it's not like I'm told which apps are troublemakers. I don't have that many apps installed anyway, just a few games and general apps like Netflix, Twitch, that stupid Facebook app that I can't uninstall because it comes pre-included with the phone.

This is really starting to **** me off. Now I'm in the middle of performing a second factory reset because I don't know of any other way that fixes this problem. Technology always finds new ways to make my life more difficult. Good thing the phone is still under warranty, because both my carrier and LG might be hearing from me soon.

Has a solution been found that doesn't require having to constantly delete cache or doing a factory reset?

I had this issue with my original G3 back in November and returned it as after a week the factory resetting didn't solve the problem. Received my new G3 yesterday - worked like a charm for an hour and then started doing the exact same thing. Google Play store is a white screen and all I see is the sync wheel showing it is trying to sync something (no idea what). The first app that I noticed problems with is Facebook - which there is no way of deleting - only disabling - once you try to reinstall/re-enable the same thing happens.

This morning I tried clearing the cache of Google Play Services, powered off and then restarted the phone after about 5 minutes. It has been in lala land of trying to install updates to all my apps for the last hour.

I am ready to throw this phone out the window of a fast moving vehicle. What is the point of having a smartphone if the only thing working is the phone and text messaging?

Thanks
