LG G3 Disconnected by Verizon

I have a Verizon Lg G3 that was turned off for non-payment. Being that their 4g LTE phones are supposedly all unlocked, can I bring it to T-Mobile prepaid? Or if not T-Mobile, to another prepaid carrier?

Welcome to Android Central! No, they will blacklist the phone's IMEI, which means you can't use it as a phone on any network. Otherwise a person would essentially be able to steal a phone by starting a contract with low contract phone pricing, then stopping payment immediately.
