LG G3 hair line cracks in screen and won't respond

My husband dropped the phone not even a foot from the ground and the bottom right and top right have a hair line crack in the screen. It appears that it won't respond to any touch on that side of the phone. Any apps, calling, etc won't respond. Any ideas why this is happening and what to do. The phone is not even 2 years old yet and just hoping for an easy fix.
