Lg g3 not charging

My charger (not the original charger) exploded while i was trying to charge my phone in class today. I laughed about it until when i got home and tried with the original charger but the phone didn't respond. I tried the original charger with my power bank and it worked. I'm starting to feel that I have just damaged my phone's charging port. Any suggestions?
PS. I don't have a waranty

I think your diagnosis is correct....or at least, damage of some sort has been done.

If port damaged, you could buy a 2nd battery, and an external charger for it.

That way you would charge battery, separate from the phone, and just swap the batteries as needed,

I think that's a good idea to change the battery!

That's the reason a bought myself LG G 3 S, because of the possibility to solve such a problem like yours!
